J'ai peint ce tableau en extérieur sur le chemin qui mène au phare du Paon de l'île de Bréhat.
Ce point de vue m'a inspiré par la diversité des éléments qui le constitue, le végétal, l'animal et le minéral.

Path to the Lighthouse
I painted this picture outdoors, on the path leading to the Phare du Paon (the Lighthouse of the Peacock), on the Isle of Bréhat.
I was quite inspired by this vantage point with its commanding view over a whole range of scenic elements. The vegetal, the animal and the mineral world seem to delightfully coalesce.
To depict this seascape I used a palette knife and applied the paint in rough touches so as to impart a great sense of character to this small-sized painting.
