Comment décrire cette merveille ?
Ce pastel est exactement comme je voulais qu'il soit, le visage est dur et féminin à la fois, j'ai volontairement décalé la hauteur des yeux, comme si, d'un côté elle voyait sa vie telle qu'elle est et avec l'autre oeil, telle qu'elle voudrait qu'elle soit.
Les couleurs jaune, orange et rouge représentent l'énergie qu'elle emploie à survivre.
Ces couleurs sont la vie telle qu'elle est et son vêtement bleu la vie calme qu'elle voudrait.
Le pastel est griffé comme une signature, ce ne sont pas des gribouillis mais mon influx nerveux face au sujet.
L'achat de cette oeuvre nécessite une forte sensibilité ou une connaissance réelle de l'art contemporain.

How can we describe such a wonder ?
The pastel is exactly the way I wanted it to be. The face reveals both a harsh and a feminine aspect at the same time. I deliberately painted the eyes out of line so as to express the fact that, on the one hand the woman is looking at her present-day life as it is, but on the other hand she is brooding over the life she wished she had.
The yellow, orange and red tones represent the energy she has to display in her brave endeavour to survive. Such colours embody life as it is, whereas her blue garment symbolizes the life she would like to lead.
This pastel bears many marks and traits which can be likened to a signature. I am most certainly not doodling. With regard to the subject, I am giving vent to my impulsive creative spirit.
