Ces petites maisons blanches entourant le sémaphore de l'île de Batz m'ont inspiré ce tableau que j'ai choisi de réaliser selon ma technique de peinture "Millefiori".
Ces façades qui renvoient la clarté du ciel m'ont donné envie d'un tableau très coloré, très vivant, pour mettre à l'honneur ce blanc éclatant. J'ai utilisé les toitures bleues pour créer un lien entre le ciel et la terre, le travail minutieux d'équilibre des formes et des couleurs est très important dans cette oeuvre.

These lovely little cottages clustered around the semaphore on the Isle of Batz were the source of my inspiration. To capture the sense of beauty inherent in the place, I decided to apply my specific « Millefiori » artistic technique.
A look at the small houses with their blazing whitewashed walls mirroring the brigthness of the sky, and I let myself be absorbed in their joyful atmosphere. To highlight the sparkling whiteness of the façades I deliberately chose to paint a vivid and brightly coloured art-work. The blue roofs further enhance the visual link between the sky and the earth. This minute art-piece with its delicately shaped elements and subtle colours, offers a very balanced composition.
