"La pomme" est une nature morte très décorative.
J'ai repris dans cette oeuvre au couteau le thème de mon tableau "Le temps qui passe" mais selon ma technique millefiori.
Le bouquet, le vase et la pomme sont immobilisés dans le temps mais cette fois le 4ème personnage n'est pas une deuxième pomme mais un mug qui suggère la présence de l'humain.

« The Apple » is a very decorative still life.
Using a palette knife, I harped back on the theme represented in « The Passing Time » but applied my « Millefiori » technique. The bunch of flowers, the vase and the apple are fixed in an eternal state of beauty. The passing of time will never alter them. In this artfully executed composition, the fourth character is not another apple but the mug which hints at human presence.
The unusual artistic technique of this art-piece will most certainly fill you with a sense of delight.
